Baby Moses

Travel with us to ancient Egypt and visit the home of baby Moses, the pharaoh’s palace, and the Nile river.  We will struggle and hope with the Israelites as they work hard to survive in the Nile delta, enslaved to the Egyptians.  Alongside his family, we will try to save baby Moses and learn to put our hopes in God when we reach the limits of our ability.  We will peek into Moses future and see the hopes that God had for Moses, and talk about what hopes he might have for us.

Daniel and the Lions

Join us and Daniel as exiles in Babylon.  We will accompany Daniel as Babylonians invade his home, capture him, bring him to live in a foreign court, and force him to accept new customs and a new life.  We will watch as he finds favor with the king and encounters jealous rivals, and as they challenge and outlaw his devotion to GOD.  We will enter the lions’ den with him and learn from his trust in GOD’s power and protection.

Queen Esther

Live with us as royalty in an ancient Persian palace as we explore what it means to stand up for our beliefs.  We will see Esther become queen and assume responsibility far beyond what she thought she was capable of managing. We will pray with her for the courage to speak up; and discuss the people who helped her find strength and those who we can turn to. We will prepare and feast on hamantashen, a Jewish pastry, as we explore the Jewish holiday of Purim and celebrate Esther’s heroism.

Jesus In Jerusalem

Roam the streets of Jerusalem with us and explore the surrounding environs as we look at GOD's chosen city.  We will look at how this city was important to Jesus as a devout Jew and as the Son of GOD.  We will spend this rotation surrounded by pilgrims, camping on a hill outside the city, chanting for the Jesus as he enters the city, and sharing a Passover feast.  We will visit the temple to exchange our money, buy our own sacrificial lamb, and make our tribute offerings.  Throughout we will listen to the teachings of Jesus that inspired his followers and threatened Israel's leaders.

The Empty Tomb

Encounter the sights, sounds, and drama of the first Holy Week as we retrace Jesus last steps as a man. Come with us to discover the empty tomb and witness Jesus’ first appearances to his disciples and followers after his crucifixion. Wonder with us how it might have felt to find the tomb empty; and then to see the risen Christ. Throughout we will explore the meaning of sin, the meaning of the resurrection, and God’s power over sin and death.

Lost Parables

Sit with us at the feet of Jesus on a Galilean hillside and hear his comforting message as told through the parables of The Lost Seed, The Lost Coin, and The Prodigal Son. We will learn that even though we may wander from God and make bad choices, God never stops loving us and He will forgive us when we come and ask to be forgiven. We will explore what it means to be lost and then found; and celebrate finding something valuable that we have lost.

Water Miracles

Travel with Jesus and his disciples in a fishing boat out onto the sea of Galilee and ponder some of Jesus most well known miracles: calming the storm, walking on water, and the draught of fish. We will look at nature and God’s power over the world around us. We will look at how Jesus demonstrations of power might have impressed and influenced his disciples and other followers. We will talk about our confidence in God’s power as if affects our lives.
